What we discuss?
It’s Only Up from Here is a podcast hosted by Abel and Aaron. Each week we discuss the topics that we never got the chance to learn about in school. Things like the fine line between pursuit and obsession, when it’s okay to make a bad decision, or what it takes to find a meaningful identity. All things that are hard to examine, but important to explore on the road to self discovery. Usually, our discussions boil down the one of three areas in our life, but chances are we will digress from there.

Sometimes we're thriving, sometimes we're just surviving. We dive deep into mental health, personal growth, and those existential questions that hit different in your 20s and 30s.
Who are we?
Aaron is a writer and financial advisor working in Winnipeg, Canada. He writes about mental models, human behaviour and wealth creation. Outside of his work, he enjoys working out, golfing, reading, and eating peanut butter.
Abel considers himself an eclectic. He works in marketing for a large financial services firm and spends his spare time with friends, reading, painting and watching sports. He is easily intrigued by science and math, music and film, and design (he’s our graphics team).
